Tapes,
Books CDs, DVDs and Courses
We believe that publishers who ask people to pay for part one of any course
that has been publicised by mystery advertising (advertising in which
you do not know exactly what is on offer) is unethical.
Like a bookshop, all our tapes, books and courses have free and open
viewing before purchase.
In the case of tapes/multiple CD/DVD sets, a free sample is made available (sometimes a small
charge for p&p is requested but this is deducted from any subsequent
sale).
In the case of courses, part one is usually given away free as an Internet
download. Often, part two is also made available to view freely, but part
two will be charged for in the subsequent sale. Viewers having problems
with downloads can have unbound hard copy printouts for the printing,
packing and postage costs only, redeemable against any future purchase.
In the case of eBooks for sale, a free preview, usually chapter one of
the book is made available free of charge by Internet download.
Hard copies of any of the free viewings can also be sent but printing,
packing and postage will be charged for.
Advertising or comments containing incomes earned by others are best estimates based
on reasonable calculations, or actual admissions by the person concerned.
Because the amount of effort and determination varies dramatically between
individuals, no estimates of any individual's projected income is ever given
or implied. Any suggested earnings are reasonable estimates based on our
experts own experiences in the field concerned.
With the exception of our simple one-tier affiliate programme, none of our publications
should be considered to be any kind of business opportunity (such as MLM,
Part-work plans and ventures regarded by the DTI as a Trading Scheme).
They are Business plans - books describing profitable and
workable business areas. As the conditions of use by the reader are completely
outside our control we do not accept any responsibility for any losses,
however incurred. You are strongly advised seek the advice of an
independent competent and reputable professional before starting any
business of any kind.
Testimonials quoted in our literature are taken from genuine, unsolicited
letters and emails, copies of which are retained at head office. We do
not give away details of successful customers' email addresses or phone
numbers in order for enquirers to speak to them. Firstly, the volume
of such requests became a serious burden to them. Secondly, some people
used the names as a free source of direct mail names or spam. Finally, we
are signatories to the Data Protection Act and we are simply not allowed
to do so.
Refund Policy
Books and
courses produced by the Home Publishers Association should be of the highest
quality containing insights into the subject matter that are new and exciting.
They are written by experts in their fields.
Our open viewing policy gives buyers the same
rights as any bookshop (preview the book before purchase). In the same
way that a novel cannot be returned if the reader does not like the ending,
we adopt the same policy. We are happy to replace or refund any product
found defective, cannot be downloaded or with printing errors.
For all purchases of less than £250, we offer a full 30 day, no-quibble
refund policy on safe return of the goods in resalable condition, postage
paid by the sender. This is not applicable to high-value items (see seminars
and workshops, below). Any exceptions to this rule will be made in the advertising
material related to the product.
Refund or replacement after 30 days will be at our discretion. If you are not convinced
by the previews that a book/course/product is for you, then please send us any
questions by emailing us. This does not affect your rights under UK Law.
As a general recommendation, if the first two parts of any course, or
the previews do not
inspire you, then it may be unwise to pursue that particular course.
DIGITAL versions are guaranteed viewable on screen. Due to the technicalities of different computer set ups we do not guarantee
that printing out on a local printer will be successful. Buyers have the option of purchasing hard copy printouts or books at publisher's
prices for printing, postage and packing.
Seminars,
Workshops, Tuition Courses.
For the
purpose of this page, Seminars, Workshops, Tuition Courses and similar
shall be called seminars. Fees must be paid in advance of the event. Our
policy is to refund anyone who advises us that they cannot attend (or wish
to cancel) provided we receive such notice in writing (letter, fax or
email) at least 7 days before the event. If we have paid in advance for
certain costs such as meals, accommodation, etc., costs applicable to that
individual and which we cannot at that stage recoup from the
hotel/premises, then those costs will be deducted from the refund. Unless
advised in writing to the contrary, attendance at the event will be
considered as full provision of the service rendered and no refunds are
allowed for any reason after the event has taken place. (A common
exception is those events in which the advertising stated that delegates leaving
on/before lunch will be eligible for a refund.) In the event of combined
or multiple seminars (for example, two weekend seminars run consecutively),
attendance at the first seminar will be considered as full provision of the
whole service rendered and no refunds are allowed for any reason after the
first event has taken place. Non-arrivals on the event day, for example
due to travel circumstances beyond their control, may be offered goods or
services of equivalent value or have their seat pre-paid at a future
seminar. This is entirely at our discretion. We reserve the right of offer
individual terms and conditions for special seminars should the need
arise.
